Gwen Stefani has been dubbed a "Kardashian Clone" after debuting an unrecognizable look in her new social media post.

As part of her GXVE Beauty promotional ad, Stefani recently shared a video of herself showing the brand's makeup line. She applied Can't Stop Staring Mascara and Line It Up Gel Liner to her face while teasing everyone with her lipstick by pouting at the camera.

However, it did not take her long before she was slammed for her unrecognizable appearance.

Did Gwen Stefani Alter Her Looks?

"Get the queen of glam @gwenstefani's must-have eye products," she captioned the post. "Available in our new All Eyes On Me Set."

Commenters immediately criticized Stefani's looks and branded her a "plastic Kardashian clone," referencing the members of the Kardashian-Jenner family who have been condemned for their changing looks over the years.

Another criticism read, "Remember the early days of no doubt when Gwen Stefani looked and dressed like a tomboy. Lord, I miss those days!"

"You can't stop! You look so fake yourself," one wrote, while another added, "I didn't even know that was her at first!"

It was not the first time Stefani found herself in hot water because of her cosmetics brand. After she launched the line in March 2022, it dropped an ad showing the singer holding Check My Glow highlighter and Pick It Up cream contour and powder bronzer duo after wearing Pick It Up in Toastin' and Check My Glow in Platinum Cowgirl.

Her followers, at that time, criticized her for her extreme use of Photoshop and filters to make herself look younger than her age.

A few days before the ad was posted, she garnered criticism again when she posted a makeup tutorial using the products from her beauty company.

At that time, her followers called her "plastic" and demanded that she show up without any makeup on.

Gwen Stefani Obsessed With Aging

Prior to criticisms, Stefani told People that she was not looking forward to aging. She also shared The Daily Telegraph's Stellar in March 2021 that she is obsessed with her aging process.

"It's really hard for everyone to age and have to face life," she added. "Especially for females and people who have been in the spotlight it can be daunting, but you tackle it by just trying to be the most beautiful version of yourself inside and out."
