Kanye West's Italy concert might not happen after the recent postponement.

Daily Mail confirmed that the controversial rapper's gig - which was due on October 20 in Reggio Emilia - was canceled due to rail strike. The organizers also noted that the heavy rain forecast left the open-air venue a massive mudded area.

"Our aim to ensure the safety and security of all and if there is a transport issue then the concert cannot go ahead safely and as it is open air the heavy rain forecast would have also created problems," the officials said at that time. "The organisers have been given an alternative date of October 27 and we are waiting to hear back if it is acceptable to them."

However, the new schedule might not work at all.

Why Kanye West Show in Italy Is Unlikely To Happen Revealed

In a new Billboard report, the media outlet revealed that there had been signs of cancelation over the past few days - from dismantling the concert's stage and the "Jesus Is King" rapper's return to the U.S. with his wife, Bianca Censori.

There are also reports that the show could not secure permits before the mid-October deadline, leading to the cancelation of what would have been the opening of West and Ty Dolla $ign's collaborative album.

West's recent controversies seemingly played a role, as well. For what it's worth, he got involved in antisemitism issues and lewd incidents in Italy before scheduling the concert.

It would have marked his first-ever music project alone and his first since his surprise appearance at Travis Scott's launch show in Rome in August.

Kanye West Appeared in Headlines Again

The postponement came after West requested his friend Ian Connor to share his reported text messages to Elon Musk in which he declared he is not bipolar. He alleged that he only has signs of autism after getting involved in a car accident in 2002.

West has been open about his battle with bipolar over the past few years, even revealing the diagnosis himself in 2018. He told Big Boy that he learned about the issue when he was 39 and detailed that it led him to have erratic actions and manic episodes.

But in 2022, he claimed that he was mentally misdiagnosed and "nearly drugged" out of his mind. His bipolar disorder episodes also took a toll on his marriage to Kim Kardashian.
