Kanye West fans believe that the rapper has been cloned and that the rapper they are seeing now is a fake one.
Conspiracy theories about celebrities' alleged clones have been reemerging over the past few weeks, and West's name recently appeared on the buzz as fans are convinced he had also been cloned.
Is Kanye West Actually Missing?
West's fandom is currently divided as most fans insist that he is actually a clone, while others do not buy the speculation at all.
The buzz started when a TikTok video made the claim about the 46-year-old "Jesus Is King" rapper. His fans then searched for clues and found "proof" that the rapper the public has been seeing is not actually West.
One of the alleged signs included West looking differently when he shared the stage with Travis Scott in Rome. Per the concertgoers, he looked different from what people remember.
Some conspiracy theorists also alleged that the government was behind the cloning. They noted that his voice "sounds different" and the notable tattoos have disappeared.
Meanwhile, internet users reacted to the buzz on X amid the growing speculations.
"if it was possible to clone humans why the f--- would anyone choose kanye west out of all people," one said.
Another wrote, "I know I say some wild stuff but honestly I love Kanye west but unfortunately after this truth and many others he revealed he may be a clone now."
"All I keep thinking about is ... was that the real @kanyewest or the clone... you got the answers Ye? I need em ..." one added.

"Kanye West Clone" Theory Started Years Ago
Before the TikTok videos emerged, the theory already started years ago due to fans' belief that the current West is an imposter. They explained that his erratic behavior also proved that he was not real.
Meanwhile, the rapper himself seemingly believes in the possibility of cloning people as he previously said on Instagram that Elon Musk was a clone.
"Am I the only one who thinks Elon could be half-Chinese? Have you ever seen his pics as a child?" West said. "Take a Chinese genius and mate them with a South African super model and we have an Elon. I say an Elon because they probably made 10 to 30 Elon's and he's the first genetic hybrid that stuck..."
