BTS V assured the fans that he was "all good" after a woman in her twenties stalked the K-pop idol.

South Korean media outlet KBS released a report on Friday, October 27, confirming that the woman who stalked BTS V had been arrested. She violated the country's anti-stalking act.

What Happened to BTS V?

According to the report, the unnamed woman waited for BTS V outside his apartment building on Thursday, October 26. She followed the idol into the parking area of the residence before he drove away.

The same woman reportedly entered the same elevator he was taking and gave him a marriage certificate with her name stated on it as she attempted to speak with him.

Police received a report about the incident and tracked her down using the information shown on the marriage certificate. They arrested the fan, who reportedly has a history of stalking V in the past.

BTS V's label, Big Hit Music, issued a statement to TV Report to address the incident.

"We are responding with a no-tolerance policy to stalking crimes that disturb our artist's personal life and threaten their safety," the company said.

The "Love Me Again" singer also assured his fans on Weverse that he was okay, sharing a photo of himself with a sunset in the background.

BTS Members Have Encounters With Obsessive Fans

Over the past few years, BTS members suffered from distressing encounters with "sasaengs" - or obsessive fans - who invaded the idols' space and privacy while also doing things that were beyond imagination.

One female fan once attempted to kiss Suga after a BTS schedule. There were also fans who chased the group while they were in Sweden, leading the Swedish ARMYs to apologize to the group after the incident.

Among the other terrifying incidents included a fan who tried to catch BTS members' attention by wearing flashy outfits, fans who took photos of the idols privately and those who booked the same airplanes with the idols.

In March, BTS youngest member, Jungkook, expressed his frustration after sasaeng fans mobbed him in front of his gym while he was working out.

"I am thankful, but in its entirety, those actions aren't right. That is what I want to say. I am thankful for the heart that you watched my live broadcast, and you came because you wanted to see me, but still, you know. Well, I was surprised that time. I came out trying to go home, and people were there," he said.
