After all these years, Lance Bass shown that he still has Justin Timberlake's back, his former bandmate from NSYNC.

Following the release of Britney Spears' latest biography, Timberlake, 44, came out in support of his longtime friend who has been the target of constant cyberbullying for the past two weeks.

Timberlake is under great scrutiny and Lance Bass obviously cannot bear it.

In the midst of criticism around reports of Timberlake's treatment of the Circus hitmaker during their two-year romance (1999-2001), Bass told TMZ that people should be more understanding of the SexyBack singer's past transgressions.

"Everyone has their own opinion, but I feel the whole world is so full of hate right now that we need to practice a little forgiveness. Britney did, so let's take a note from her," he suggested.

"Everyone deserves to tell their story. She did, and, you know, I hope the fans can, again, find some forgiveness," she added.

After Timberlake's ex-girlfriend made shocking allegations against him, including that he cheated on her and that she had an abortion when she was 19 because he "didn't want to be a father," Bass refused to say if he had spoken with Timberlake.

As he made his way to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Bass said he was "about to" board the plane when someone inquired if he had read the new book by Spears, which was released on Tuesday.

Following previews of the audiobook featuring the memoir's narrator, Michelle Williams, a five-time Oscar contender, the father of two declared it'sounds great.' Regarding *NSYNC's upcoming tour and album release, the Mississippi native disclosed that there is currently "no plan for an album."

What fans know from reports is that Justin Timberlake is not happy with the book exposing him - although he has decided to just keep mum about it.

They continued by saying that "Britney truly doesn't care who is offended by anything in it because it is what happened," adding that "writing this book has given her life."

She was present and experienced it. Nobody has anything to say.

Now that she has let everything out of her, she is going on.

The 'baggage' from Britney's novel, according to a second insider, has been'stressful' for Justin and his wife Jessica, whose October 19 wedding anniversary was overshadowed. 2012 saw the two get married, ten years after his breakup with Britney.

Sons Phineas, age three, and Silas, age eight, are shared. "The release of Britney's book and the revelations that followed has not been ideal for his anniversary celebrations," they stated. "Although it hasn't been a frequent topic of discussion, Justin and Jessica have undoubtedly discussed it. It has also not been the most fulfilling of days lately; having to consider all of that at a time when they should be celebrating their love for one another has been a little difficult.

They said he is attempting to concentrate on his next movie and NSYNC's new songs, saying, "He is trying to work things out and escape the doubters."
