Taylor Swift and Maren Morris have something in common, both of them experienced having a career in the world of country music, but their friendship goes way more than that.
More recently, the musician opened up about her relationship with the mega-pop superstar and how she supported her through the years of their connection.
The singer recently appeared in an episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" months after they took the stage of "The Eras Tour" to perform their collaborative track "You All Over Me" from the album "Fearless (Taylor's Version)."
Morris praised the singer as she has been a fan of her since she was a teenager and she was so happy to see her navigate through the country music genre to pop music.
She added of her good pal's attitude: "The way she treats her fans is so kind and generous... She's setting a high bar." (via Billboard)

The musician further gave details about their friendship, saying both of them met on the "Reputation Tour" back in 2018.
At the time, Morris was surprised by the pop superstar's kindness as she asked her to come out and sing her song "The Middle" with her.

She also noted how the musician has helped her with her career, saying, "She's just been so supportive of me and my career over the years."
In other updates, Maren Morris announced last month that she's going to leave the country music genre because of its toxicity.
In the interview, she noted that there were some "facets of [country]" that she "didn't really jive with anymore."
Maren Morris Gets Honored by Variety After Leaving Country Music
The recent news comes after it was announced by Variety that Maren Morris will be a part of their annual Hitmakers celebration.
The former country songstress will be honored under the "changemaker of the year" category. Although no details have been released yet, fans should expect more on Variety's November 29 issue.
There will also be a brunch event that will take place on December 2, 2023, to present the awards to the honorees, which also included SZA as the hitmaker of the year, Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, Olivia Rodrigo, and many more.
