David Draiman proved once again that he is indeed a Swiftie as he defended Taylor Swift when someone booed at a Disturbed concert when the pop star's name was mentioned.

According to Loudwire, a video made rounds online where the singer could be seen talking to a fan who was in the front row of the band's concert.

At the time, he came to check on the woman as he had been worried about her throughout the show.

"First she's standing and literally she's got a look on her face like her boyfriend brought her to the wrong g****** concert," he said directly to the microphone.

He later changed his mind about the woman when he saw her singing one of their cover songs titled "The Sound of Silence"

He then brought up the mega-pop superstar, saying, "I mean, I know this isn't Taylor Swift, but we're doing our best."

David Draiman Defends Taylor Swift

After David Draiman mentioned Taylor Swift, who recently dropped the re-recorded version of her 2014 album "1989," the crowd started booing.

When concertgoers did the unruly thing, the lead singer wasn't having it and he didn't appreciate how the crowd reacted when the pop star was mentioned.

He later took matters into his own hands and defended her, saying, "Shut the f*** up. Taylor Swift kicks f****** a**."

David Draiman is a Certified Swiftie

This was not the first time the Disturbed lead singer opened up about Taylor Swift as he previously gushed about her talent in a previous interview.

Speaking with WMMR in August 2023, he applauded Swift for her talent in songwriting. He said in the radio interview that he would love to cover one of the singer's songs because she is "one of the most prolific songwriters of our generation."

He further noted that the "Shake It Off" hitmaker is "insanely talented" and he wanted to collaborate on a song with her if she wanted it.

In other updates, Draiman's band, Disturbed, will be going on tour in 2024. They will kick off their series of concerts at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, IL, on January 19, 2024.
