On Friday morning, the nominees for the 2024 Grammy Awards were revealed.

Unstoppable pop sensation Taylor Swift has garnered six nods, including Best Pop Performance and Song of the Year, while SZA has dominated the Oscars with nine nominations; nevertheless, only five British artists have been nominated.

British musicians Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, and Arctic Monkeys have been confirmed as nominees for the renowned music awards, spanning pop, rock, dance, and alternative genres.

The summer's biggest song was released by British pop sensation Dua Lipa, whose popular song "Dance The Night" was featured in the Barbie movie.

Additionally, the 28-year-old singer-who also acted in the movie-is a nominee for Song of the Year for the hit song that topped the UK charts in August.

Additionally, the song is up for Best Song Written for Visual Media. The seventh album by indie favorites Arctic Monkeys, The Car, was released in October 2022, marking their comeback to the music industry.

The Sheffield boys have been nominated for Best Alternative Music Album. The band had a great year, touring the globe and headlining Glastonbury, despite a near miss due to lead singer Alex Turner's laryngitis.

They have received nominations for Best Rock Performance and Best Alternative Music Performance for their lead single, "Body Paint."

With his single Miracle featuring Ellie Goulding, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris is up for Best Pop Dance Recording.

The friends have previously collaborated on successful songs like "Outside" and "I Need Your Love," now they are back at it again with another smash.

Additionally, three nominations have been received by singer-songwriter Fred Again, whose record Actual Life 3 (January 1 - September 9, 2022) is nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album.

"Strong" and "Rumble," two of his tunes, are also up for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.

Labrinth, the last British member of the lineup, is nominated for his song "Never Felt So Alone," which features Billie Eilish.

Because of the song that was featured on the "Euphoria" soundtrack for the second season of the HBO drama starring Zendaya, the two are nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

SZA received nominations for Album of the Year and Best Progressive R&B album for her highly regarded album SOS. Due to her well-known tracks, the singer-songwriter led this year with the most nominations, nine.

Her song "Kill Bill" received nominations for Best R&B Performance, Record, and Song of the Year.

Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish were among the other performers vying for the top honors. With her smash single "What Was I Made For?," Billie was nominated for six awards, including the top titles Song and Record of the Year.

One of the tracks from the critically praised soundtrack album of Greta Gerwig's co-written and co-directed Barbie movie, starring Margot Robbie, was the somber ballad.
