After Harry Styles debuted a shaven head on Friday, his mother Anne Twist took to social media to criticize trolls who had been "negativity" against the singer.
The 29-year-old celebrity last week caused a worldwide uproar with his new buzz cut reveal on a night out with his rumored girlfriend Taylor Russell, sending fans into a tailspin over the loss of his cherished curls.
Harry's mother, Anne, appears to be perplexed by the response as she acknowledged that she doesn't get it, particularly given that Harry is kind and inclusive.
"When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion, has always made every effort to make everyone feel seen and appreciated for exactly who they are," the irate mom commented on Instagram, posting a snapshot of the singer sporting a new hairstyle.

"The criticism he has received for getting a haircut is ironic. Sorry, but it's not clear to me," she added.
Being one of the most well-known people in the world, it should come as no surprise that Harry's most recent endeavor to become more anonymous didn't quite go as planned.
However, the response was quite different from the singer's original plan to test out a new appearance in the hopes of securing a "few weeks or months" of anonymity.
"Harry was seeking some privacy," an insider exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com.
"The best-case scenario is that he might manage to go unnoticed for a few weeks or months if he shaves his head.
That was his original motivation, but now that he's been discovered, things are continuing as normal.
He's not disturbed by the new look; it was good while it lasted and it grows back rapidly.
All he wants is for it to have lasted longer and no one knew.
When Harry and actress Taylor, 29, were seen watching U2 at the brand-new Sphere venue in Las Vegas last week with a shaven head, it stunned fans everywhere.
The singer quickly became popular on social media when the picture was posted by the gossip website DeuxMoi.
Then a video of the "Watermelon Sugar" hitmaker cuddling up to Taylor and resting a protecting hand on her shoulder while they watched the $2.3 billion venue's show surfaced.
He appeared content and at ease.
