The world of country music is mourning the recent death of Abe Stoklasa, a popular songwriter who previously worked with some of the greatest musical acts in the said genre like Lady A, Tim McGraw, and many more.

The musician died on November 17, but as of this writing, the cause of his death remains undisclosed by his family members. He was only 38 years old.

According to Billboard, the songwriter has always been fond of music since his early years as he started playing with his father on his band at the young age of six years old.

In a previous interview with Shotgun Seat, Stoklasa said he had "always been a musician."

"From two years old I was singing on the stage. At like six years old my dad threw me in the band as the keyboard player, sink or swim. So that's how I learned to play music," he said of how his musical talent was formed.

Abe Stoklasa Life, Career

Later on, the musician's family moved to Tennessee when he was a teenager. He later studied at Belmont University, and after pursuing his studies, he immediately became a steel guitar player for David Nail's road band.

He later tried studying for a music-related graduate degree, but it wasn't cutting it as he wanted to do it personally, not just examine and study it.

Stoklasa went back on the road to join Billy Currington's band where he worked for over three years, he even had the chance to open for Kenny Chesney's stadium tour in 2011.

Abe Stoklasa Remembered by Charles Kelley

Charles Kelley, one of the members of Lady A, took to his official Instagram account to pay tribute to his good friend.

"He was a musician's musician and carried one of the most authentic voices in this town. I'll never listen to the songs we shared together the same or forget the moments we had onstage and on the late night bus rides. Nashville will never see another Abe Stoklasa," he wrote.
