Over the weekend, Paris Hilton appeared to receive a bit of a shock.
The influencer was set to host an F1 after party at the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday. She previously claimed that she and Britney Spears "created the selfie."
A DJ entered the somewhat empty-looking room and declared, "We have a very special guest," according to a video posted by Real Las Vegas Locals.
The former reality TV star attempted to mask her surprise at her initial impression of the gathering as she raised her sunglasses.
The account holder added, "The priceless moment when Paris Hilton realizes there's no one there at the F1 after party," next to the photo.
'Hilton for the Stay' was emblazoned on the front of the 42-year-old DJ's custom-made, sequined Formula One racing gear, which was colored pink, purple, and white. She wore her long blonde hair in a high ponytail, accessorizing with silver boots and dark sunglasses.

Some of the video's critics responded with snide comments on social media. One reviewer stated, "The moment she lifted those sunglasses, panic set in." One more person said, "HaHaha, what a dork."
Several supporters justified the turnout by saying, "We see people there." Where is the remaining video? and "There are more videos that show it packed."
Images posted to Paris' Instagram feed demonstrate how the author of Confessions of an Heiress used her magic to make the most out of the circumstances.
After she kicked off the celebration, everyone in what seemed to be a standing room only area was up dancing and jumping to the sounds. During the Vegas Grand Prix, Paris Hilton dazzles in a dazzling onesie.
To record the event, the majority of them had their phones out. 'Enjoyed mixing the @Hilton X @McLaren Stay on the Grid Experience at the @F1 #LVGP!' she posted on social media along to a photo carousel. With the hashtags "#Hiltonforthestay #Parisfortheslay," she ended it. One fan responded to the picture with Paris's go-to expression, "That's so hot."
More celebrities will be revealed in the upcoming weeks, but Paris Hilton, Trixie Mattel, Hailey Bieber, Tiffany Haddish, and JoJo are confirmed to participate in the holiday extravaganza to be hosted by Demi Lovato entitled, "A Very Demi Holiday Special."
On December 8, the program will debut on the Roku Channel. Along with some of Lovato's original hits, the OBB Pictures-produced spectacular will feature songs including "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," "Jingle Bell Rock," and a surprise duet.
