Not too long ago, a warning was given to Britney Spears that she was going beyond her financial means; however, no changes were made, and she has now realized that her excessive spending habits have resulted in insurmountable debts yet no sources of income.
Most of the "Toxic" hitmaker's wealth was accumulated during her preceding years, with her last tour being in 2018.
Although she has only released a couple of songs since then - one in concert with Elton John and another with Will.i.am - the singer received an influx of money this year due to the launch of her memoir, "The Woman in Me."
Britney Spears' Book
Despite the book's success on the New York Times Bestseller list, word has it that the blonde bombshell has already spent her $12 million advance. The net proceeds generated from sales may not be enough to make up for her expenditure.
While there are certainly those who have leeched off Britney, the real issue is that she's never been educated on financial matters.
The insider divulged, "It's not all her fault; however, now she is suffering emotionally and financially due to this lack of knowledge."

As of last month, Britney has announced that she is in the process of penning a second memoir that is expected to be published in 2024.j
This new book will provide insight into the singer's recent divorce from Sam Asghari, which took place back in August.
Furthermore, this second installment will likely serve as an extension of her first published memoir released earlier.
An additional source explained that the mom-of-two wishes to understand what caused the breakdown of her marriage with Sam.
After all, they had been married for only 14 months before the trainer called it quits on their relationship.
Shockingly, Britney Spears has much more to reveal about her historic relationship with ex Justin Timberlake - which will surely disappoint the father-of-two as it will bring additional heat from his fans.
There is no shortage of material when it comes to stories of the two's time together. A reliable source claims that if she wanted to, Britney could fill four or five books with accounts of their 1999-2002 romance.
