Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are taking over the world right now because of their romance as there have been countless reports about them, especially when they're being spotted out and about.

However, things weren't like this in the past as NFL star Patrick Mahomes admitted that he and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates made fun of the couple's relationship before.

The athlete recently sat down in an interview with "CBS Mornings" where he noted that Kelce received a few "jokes" when his romance with the pop star took off.

Speaking with host Nate Burleson, Mahomes explained that at first, his teammates "stayed away" for the athlete to do his own thing.

"And then he started bringing Taylor around and you realize how cool of a person she was and she is. So for us - I mean, it was a couple of jokes here and there in the beginning - but now, she's just part of Chiefs Kingdom and she's part of the team," he added. (via Page Six)
