Last month, fans were confused and concerned at the same time when Noah Sebastian of Bad Omens suddenly wiped out all of his social media accounts and not leaving any trace of his wherabouts. More recently, he spoke in an interview to reveal why he decided to leave the internet.

The singer had a conversation with Metal Hammer where he revealed the things that he doesn't want about being a musician who has social media profiles, and it might be the biggest contribution to his decision not to remain active online anymore.

"I was trying to use my socials, and I just had to constantly mute them," the musician said, adding that he "got really tired" of seeing his own face or even opinions from strangers about him.

"I don't think that's healthy. I've seen these accounts that collect baby pictures of me they find on a distant relative's Facebook and make an entire shrine out of them," he further explained.

Sebastian later gave an example in which he would be painted in a negative light if he shares photos of a female musician when she was still a kid.

"It'd be weird, it'd be extremely inappropriate... t's really funny how selective people are with their ethics," he added.

Noah Sebastian Has Been Inactive on Social Media For Years

According to Loudwire, the "State of the Scene" podcast were the first ones who noticed that Noah Sebastian deleted his accounts.

Fans of Bad Omens later got ahold of this information, and their hardcore fans explained that the singer had been inactive on social media for years.

Noah Sebastian Doesn't Consider Himself as a Rock Star

Despite being a vocalist of Bad Omens for a long time now, Noah Sebastian clarified in the interview that he doesn't see himself as a rock star.

He further noted that he's unsure about the concept of what a rock star is anymore and he wished that more people would know him personally for them to find out how "boring" he was.

"I definitely wish everyone in the world knew me in real life and just knew how boring I was, and just knew how fucking lame I was, so that they could, you know, relax a little bit. But, that's art, man. Art's powerful," he added.
