• Lester Holt Still Keeping 'NBC Nightly News' in the Top Spot

Lester Holt continues to hold his own and hold back all of the competition in the evening news race. Holt has been sitting in on "NBC Nightly News" since disgraced anchor, Brian Williams, was officially suspended for the next six months. Last week, it was confirmed that former NBC chief, Andy Lack, was back in his former position in the hopes that he could whip the network back into shape. Williams is currently the subject of an internal investigation and he is also a good friend of Lack's. It looks like he's going to have to make a tough decision if Holt continues to win the ratings in key demographics.
  • Changes at NBC News Could Save Brian Williams's Job

NBC News has spent the last several weeks in a continued state of turmoil thanks in great part to Brian Williams's embellishment problem. While Deborah Turness, the network president, decided to take swift action and suspend him for six months, that one act alone was not going to be enough to restore faith behind the scenes and with the fan base. It was pretty obvious that major changes were going to have to happen, and now more details are starting to take shape that could easily change the face of NBC News completely. Major changes could ultimately save Williams's job.
