Whispers are circulating that the duo are planning to tour together once again, and the industry holds it’s breath to see if it is legitimate. Their last tour was in 2007, although they played a single show in Baltimore in 2008 and performed at the Grammys in 2014.

The film will premiere in Los Angeles and New York City and since it is a movie about music, the film has put together a soundtrack filled with some of the best songs of the era from the likes of Daft Punk, MK, Frankie Knuckles, The Orb and others.

    The release date has been set for the upcoming Daft Punk documentary airing on French TV next month. The project was announced a little over a year ago and will air on June 24 on Canal Plus, which helped produce the film in coordination with BBC Worldwide Production France. The doc, titled Daft Punk Unchained will be 80 minutes in length and feature some of their noted collaborators including Pharrell and Giorgio Moroder.
