  • Prodigy Announce 'Day Is My Enemy' Release Date, Tracklist

The news that all Prodigy fans have long been waiting for has finally arrived. The "Firestarter" group has dished the details on their upcoming artist album, "The Day Is My Enemy," slated for release March 30. Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim Reality have revealed the tracklist for the 14-track album as well via a post on the band's website. "The Day Is My Enemy" will be the sixth album in The Prodigy's storied 20-plus-year discography and their first in six years. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the follow-up to 2009's "Invaders Must Die" with little definitive news as to when the next album would come. 2014 was supposed to see the next album in stores, but the year came and went, and 2015 looked like a surer thing after the group signed a new record deal and management contract. None of the songs on the album have been released yet, but two have been previously announced: "Ibiza" alongside Sleaford Mods and "Nasty," scheduled to get its release sometime later this month. It is interesting to see the band collaborate on the album with American dubstep producer Flux Pavilion, notably in a tracklist largely devoid of collaborations. They both make jarring and aggressive music, so we will see what kind of madness comes from that collab.
