    The 2016 Grammy nominations were rolled out on Monday (Dec. 7), and there the results, for the most part, were expected. Kendrick Lamar leads the nominees with 11 nods, while Taylor Swift and The Weeknd also tallied high with seven nominations apiece. While there were a few surprises along the way (big nominations for Alabama Shakes and Courtney Barnett, some of the biggest shocks were who was shut out of the Grammys.

    It has been reported by TMZ that Big Sean's Hollywood Hills home was broken into while he was away in Dubai. Theives broke into the Los Angeles home and stole unpublished music and $150,000 worth of jewelry. As all of the itmes were stolen out of a safe, it seems that the thieves may have been familiar with both Big Sean's home and his schedule.

    Stereosonic Festival in Australia suffered another death over the weekend on its five city tour across the country. After a 25-year-old Sylvia Choi died of a suspected drug overdose on day one of the Stereosonic tour in Sydney, another man, Stefan Woodward, 19 died after being rushed to a local hospital after attending the EDM festival in Adelaide. As a result of the second death, many are wondering how this could have happened with the heightened police presence and if these heavy-handed approaches should give way to pill testing.
