    New York indie rockers Parquet Courts announced their move to Rough Trade from former label What's Your Rupture? yesterday. Defined as "one of the most prolific ... rock bands of this generation" by outlets like Stereogum, the five piece's label switch will undoubtedly prove to be monumental. Joining the ranks of pivotal acts like The Smiths, The Strokes, and Arcade Fire, the Brooklyn based act also revealed details about their forthcoming "12 EP Monastic Living.
