• Bill Cosby Gets Standing Ovation and Protests at Canadian Show

Bill Cosby claims to have had a "wonderful time" performing in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, last night, Jan. 7. It was his first stand-up gig since last November, when detailed allegations of sexual assault first appeared again in the press. It is not the first time Cosby has been accused, but the allegations are really sticking this time around. Last night's performance was met with cheers as well as several protesters. When Cosby took the stage at the Center in the Square theater, about a third of the seats were empty in what would normally have been a sell-out crowd. While an announcer warned that there could be disruptions, there was not a single heckler in sight. The audience was polite and Cosby ended with a partial standing ovation. He also thanked the crowd for showing up and supporting him. While, all things considered, this show was a success, it is nothing compared to the kind of showing the comedian usually gets for one of his stand-up gigs. This show, as well as two others in Ontario, were booked before the scandal began, and when Cosby did not back out and cancel the dates, the venues were not going to risk doing it and being sued for breech of contract. What remains to be seen is whether or not Cosby will be able to book any new shows for this year. Several dates have already been canceled in the U.S. and we are not hearing any new ones being added to his schedule as of yet.
  • Teresa Giudice Called Melissa and Joe Gorga Hours Before Turning Herself In to Blame Them for Her Situation

For a while it looked like Teresa Giudice might have finally made peace with her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga, didn't it? The last season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey showed the formerly estranged family getting along and acting normal. The Gorgas were constantly showing support for Giudice, but in the months since she was sentenced to 15 months in prison, there has been silence. As it turns out, things were not quite as cool as it seemed when they were filming, and in her final weeks of freedom Giudice started blaming everyone for her fate, including the Gorgas.According to a report by Radar Online, Giudice made a number of calls before reporting to prison early Monday morning, Jan. 5, and one of those was to her brother and Melissa:"Teresa called many people the night before she went to prison. Two of the people she called happened to be Melissa and Joe. She was insistent that they were partially to blame for her jail sentence because they came on the Real Housewives of New Jersey and made her look bad. The conversation did end amicably. However, it obviously wasn't a positive thing to have her pointing blame for her legal issues in their direction."
  • Sienna Miller Replacing Emma Stone as Sally Bowles for Concluding Run of 'Cabaret' on Broadway

Cabaret has become a revolving door for the stars on Broadway as the last year has seen a decent number of actresses and vocalists handle the role of Sally Bowles, made popular by Liza Minnelli in the 1972 film of the same name. Emma Stone recently announced that she'd be holding onto the role for two weeks past her original contract and former Destiny's Child vocalist Michelle Williams was in the role before that, but reports from Billboard indicate that the next woman to take the role will be Sienna Miller.
  • Eminem, Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Marvin Gaye Recordings Used for Illegal Prison Mixtapes...Universal Music Bringing Lawsuit

No good deed goes unpunished. Or at least no profitable act disguised as a good deed goes unpunished. The Centric Group and Keefe Groups, two of several such institutions cited by Billboard, have been selling "care packages" to families of incarcerated individuals, which can include music mixtapes as part of their appeal. Universal Music is calling these agencies out on it in a new lawsuit, alleging that selling these mixtapes for profit doesn't constitute fair use and the record is owed legal restitution. Among the acts represented on the tapes are Eminem, Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Marvin Gaye.
  • Drake Interrupts Comedian Red Grant Doing Impersonation Of Him [WATCH]

A Los Angeles comedian, Red Grant decided to try his best at impersonating Drake for a skit and did not think that the man who he was clowning on would be in the crowd. He is Drake and the "1 to 100" rapper lives in Toronto. He was very wrong and Drake had made a stop in at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood and was not impressed by what he saw. Red Grant taken by surprise while trying to do some dance moves to "6 God" as Drake came on stage and called him out for a subpar performance.

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson has shared a new track titled "Cupid Carries A Gun" from his upcoming studio album The Pale Emperor, which you can check out below. According to Blabbermouth, the track originally appeared on the television series Salem back in April 2014, but has just now been made available for streaming on Youtube and Spotify. As can be expected from Manson (and from a song that appeared on a show about witch trials), it's a pretty gothic, doomy track with some industrial elements, though it's not nearly as heavy as the songs Manson wrote during his '90s heydey.
  • 'American Idol' Season 14 Recap & Review: 5 Best Auditions from the Show's Nashville Premiere

American Idol looks much different from what I remember. Full disclosure, I ditched the show after its midway point in Season Seven when David Cook earned the title. The judges - Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban - are prettier than the original three, way less failed auditions air, and Coca Cola bailed on the competition. What remains (and this is what keeps the series on the air) is the allure that in a matter of months a nobody can become a household name and be propelled into the limelight. Oh yeah, and Ryan Seacrest is still here too.
