North Carolina synthpop band Future Islands has had a pretty hot year, with a star-making performance on The Late Show with David Letterman and top slots at Coachella and Primavera Sound, and today, they've announced that they're expanding their current tour. Pitchfork reports that the band has extended their tour into 2015, which includes a few U.S. dates, as well as two weeks in Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand for the Laneway Festival. As of right now, the tour ends on March 31 in London. -

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Confirms 70 Workers May Be Facing Ebola Risk As Nina Pham Receives Plasma Transfusion From Dr. Kent Brantly
Nina Pham is the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital critical care nurse that insisted on doing her job, which recently included providing care for Thomas Eric Duncan, who later died from the Ebola Virus. She herself tested positive for Ebola last Sunday after self-monitoring herself for days. The 26-year old has reportedly received a plasma transfusion from Dr. Kent Brantly who himself beat the disease several weeks ago. While receiving his antibodies may save Pham, the CDC is now admitting that they have no idea how she caught the virus, meaning there could be as many as 70 other hospital employees that are also at risk. -

Their new venture, Incorporated is being described as a futuristic espionage thriller that is set in a world where corporation's appear to have endless power. This new drama is going to be the story of one man's attempts at beating the carefully organized system. -

Katie Holmes has just signed on to reprise her role as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in ReelzChannel's new follow-up miniseries, The Kennedys: After Camelot. The production is based on Randy Taraborrelli's book After Camelot: A Personal History of Kennedy Family 1968 to the Present and is set to begin filming in early 2015. Holmes' recent choices in projects has been a bit surprising and revisiting Kennedy is also a bit of a shock. Her first stint in Jackie O's pillbox hat was met with mixed reviews at best so perhaps Holmes is looking to improve upon the last impression that she left critics with. -

"Billboard" reports that the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, is getting a temporary rock exhibit in 2015 to pay tribute to the city's historical period in the 1960s and '70s when non-country acts migrated there to record. In March 2015, the "Dylan, Cash, and the Nashville Cats: A New Music City" exhibit will be open for museum-goers. -
