  • Mariah Carey Ignores Divorce Rumors As She Heads Into Rehearsals For 'The Elusive Chanteuse Show'

Mariah Carey's name has been on the tip of our tongue's a lot lately but not for the reasons that she would prefer. Instead of dishing on her 'The Elusive Chanteuse Show' that begins October 4th in Tokyo the media has spent tons of time dissecting the state of her marriage to Nick Cannon. After staying particularly quiet for a few weeks and spending all of her time with 'dem babies'- Roc and Roe- her 3-year old twins, Mariah is now getting down to business in rehearsals.

She also wanted a wind machine a' la Beyonce so that even in death her hair would have perfect movement. Only Melissa Rivers knows for sure which of these requests her mother was serious about but rumor has it that Joan will indeed be buried with a red carpet after her funeral later today in NYC.

That's actually kind of amazing because with Gucci Mane - real name Radric Davis' lengthy criminal history the judge could have easily thrown that proverbial book at him and started that 39 month sentence this week.
