  • Gwar announce Dave Brockie Foundation launch, public memorial

    The surviving members of Gwar released a video this week announcing the launch of a foundation to honor their late frontman Dave Brockie, a.k.a. Oderus Urungus, who died on March 23 at the age of 50. The foundation's mission is to offer support to other artists and preserve Brockie's legacy.

    Earlier this month, Sigur Rós' gave a sneak peek of their cover of "The Rains of Castamere," which will be featured on show's soundtrack. The full version, written by the composer of the series, Ramin Sjawadi, with lyrics by George R.R. Martin, is now available for sale on Amazon.
