Will Lady Gaga start releasing music under her real name, Stefani Germanotta?

According to reports, several of the "Just Dance" hitmaker's unreleased songs were leaked under her real name on the streaming platform, Apple Music, which confused, worried, and excited fans.

The songs that were leaked include a 2007 song titled "Retro Physical," which was never released, and two previously released songs, "Perfect Illusion" and "Fashion."

"If she's gonna start going by her actual name... are we gonna lose Lady Gaga?" One wrote.

"What is she concocting?"

"WE WILL BE STREAMING Stefani Germanotta's bops all day long! Gaga is always giving us iconic music surprises!"

Lady Gaga's Songs Leaked?

The song "Retro Physical" was produced by Noize Trip and was recorded for the intent to include it in Lady Gaga's debut studio album, "The Fame."

The song goes as far back as 2007, but it has never been officially released, meanwhile the two other songs, "Fashion" and "Perfect Illusion" were officially dropped.

According to reports, "Fashion" was included in the soundtrack of the 2009 film "Confessions of a Shopaholic."

Several fans came forward to explain this online as well: "First of all. Gaga wouldn't release a sped up version of 'Fashion' when we know there's a perfectly normal version out there of it lol. Second of all the 'Perfect Illusion' demo is fake and was proven years ago that it was fanmade and it contains different lyrics."

When Will Lady Gaga Drop New Music?

As of this writing, the one behind the leaks remains to be identified or held accountable.

The recent activity within Lady Gaga's fandom seems to suggest that her fans are hungry for new music since she has not released any new material since her sixth studio album, "Chromatica," which was released in 2020.

The "Paparazzi" singer did, however, collaborate with The Rolling Stones for "Sweet Sounds of Heaven."

"We've done shows with her before and we were doing this song that I wrote on the piano, this kind of gospel-y song and she was in the next door studio," Mick Jagger said.

"She said, 'Can I come down?' and she came down and she joined in and we sung together and we went in the next day and tidied up a few things up."

Lady Gaga also released "Hold My Hand" for "Top Gun: Maverick" in 2022.
