For anyone who has tuned into season seven of The Voice, it's blatantly clear that coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams have amazing chemistry. Now, the duo are taking that energy back to the studio, working hard on a new album for release by the end of the year.

According to industry interviews at Billboard, Stefani and Pharrell are currently holed up in a Miami recording studio working on material for her third solo album. Stefani's manager Irving Azoff revealed that the pop star will pick a song next week for her lead single, which will premiere on The Voice sometime this season.

Stefani's third solo album is being pushed for a December release to capitalize on her coaching stint on The Voice with executive producer Benny Blanco, who has worked with the likes of Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Maroon 5 and Kesha.

The latest Stefani album rumors follow weeks of teased news about a third solo album from the "Hollaback Girl." In an interview earlier this month, Pharrell revealed that Stefani's new material is some next level music. "You gotta hear this new Gwen record," he said. ""When I tell you she's killing it, it's another level. Gwen is somewhere else."

The new solo album won't mark the first time she's teamed up with Pharrell. He co-wrote her smash singles "Hollaback Girl" and "Wind It Up." Pharrell also appeared on the Stefani solo track "Yummy."

Stefani's new solo album will be her third pop release. Her last solo effort, The Sweet Escape, was released in 2006.

Stefani is also working on a new album with her longtime band No Doubt.
