First, Nick Jonas tapped Tinashe for a sizzling, sexy remix of his hit single "Jealous," and now the former Disney star has tapped another PBR&B star for a verse on his new single "Chains." Today (March 2), Jonas teamed up with Jhene Aiko for a new take on the passionate industrial R&B track.

Though the first verse and chorus remain the same for "Chains," the second verse swaps out Jonas for Aiko, giving the song some much needed gender balance, a new twinkling level of synths and, of course, Aiko's signature sexy vocals, making it sound more like her very own song than an add-on to a Jonas track.

"I am no criminal / Just a simple individual / I need it now, I want it all, no subliminals / it is not that difficult, it's a visual / Chains and whips, make 'em strip / I am in control," Aiko sings with a sultry note in her voice, before going all Fifty Shades of Grey with her "Chains."

Aiko's verse may take a more literal approach to the "Chains" Jonas sings about, lyrically feeling like a rapper's take than an R&B songstress, but there's no denying that she fits in these "Chains" perfectly, balancing out Jonas' single and making it all her own along the way.
