Swizz Beatz is set to produce an arts and music festival entitled Casa Bacardi in Miami during the Art Basel Miami Beach this upcoming December in an effort to help up and coming artists have a place to show their work. The music portion will even feature performances by Wiz Khalifa, DMX, Pusha T and Alicia Keys.

The Casa Bacardi event runs for three days from Dec. 3 to Dec. 5 and the Dean Collection will act as curator. A more notable event at Casa Bacardi will be the No Commission art fair, where rising artists will be able to display their work free of charge and collect any money made during sales for themselves. Each night, Casa Bacardi will hold a concert called the Bacardi Untameable House Party with a performance by one of the aforementioned artists as well as up and coming DJs and musicians.

"It's by the artist, with the people," Swizz Beatz said in an interview with Billboard, "And I think a lot of people forgot the message of why they're even going down to Basel. You're going down to Basel because there are amazing, creative artists who took a lot of time out of their lives to put together some masterpieces and hope for entry in a great collection or something or for somebody to be inspired."

He further said, "And not taking anything away from Basel or from the galleries, but I just chose to do something different. And I think the world needs more powerful collaborations that are willing to push the envelope and not really follow the necessary rules that are laid out."

AllHipHop reported that the art fair is completely free and open to the public while the concert is free with a simple RSVP.
