As January approached its close, Future hinted at more new music following the release of Purple Reign and it looks like he’s making good on his word. According to his Twitter account, the new project, titled EVOL, will be up for pre-order at midnight. Future also announced his deal with Apple Music.

It is presumed that Future’s latest album is the same project that will premiere on DJ Khaled's new Beats 1 show this Friday (Feb. 5). Khaled initially shared the news of his show and revealed that he would debut a new project from Future earlier this week.

Prior to Khaled’s announcement, Future tweeted his intentions to release more new music on the heels of Purple Reign, which he referred to as a “pre warm up.”

The Atlanta rapper is apparently looking to continue his impressive musical output that he kicked started with the release of his Monster mixtape back in October 2014. The tape was followed up by 56 Nights and Beast Mode and birthed a new slew of fans known on social media as the “#FutureHive.”

Last July, Future charted his first No. 1 album thanks to DS2. The album moved 131,500 actual albums, more than double what his sophomore album Honest sold during spring of 2014. The project easily took the title as Future's most successful album yet. DS2 was followed by What A Time to Be Alive, his joint album with Drake.

Although details have been scarce, Future hinted at a second installment of Monster on Instagram back in October. Fans have also been anticipating his collaborative mixtape with producer Mike WiLL Made-It, titled Ape Sh*t. Since its announcement last April, the two have linked up for “Al Sharpton” from Mike WiLL’s forthcoming Ransom 2 mixtape.

In the meantime, head over to iTunes at midnight EST to pre-order EVOL.
