It appears that her recent "Do What You Want" video, featuring R. Kelly and Terry Richardson, isn't the only nugget of controversy Lady Gaga is stirring up these days. The famed pop star recently got herself on PETA's bad side (yet again) after dressing up her pup Asia in some oh, so uncomfortable-looking jewelry.

Just last Wednesday, Gaga took it upon herself to turn her quirky, sometimes unexplainable, choice in fashion towards her own sad-eyed French bulldog. The "Poker Face" singer posted photographs on Instagram showing Asia sporting some heavy swag, headpieces and earrings –– even one with a headpiece and the caption "Little McQueen.

PETA has allegedly blasted Gaga and warned her that "she has a lot to learn about doggie care," as The Mirror reports. The group stated, "Lady Gaga may choose to decorate herself with elaborate and even uncomfortable outfits, but Asia doesn't get to make that choice. Although it seems pretty clear that Lady Gaga loves Asia, we think Asia – and all dogs – are adorable without all the added flair."

And while activist groups tend to always discover new ways to speak out against Gaga, the singer can usually find some solace from her Little Monsters; however, it seems in this case she may have gone too far. Numerous tweets and Instagram comments were fired at the star from fans pleading for Gaga to let the "poor doggie go" and that she should stop treating Asia as an "accessory."
