Lady Gaga celebrates the 10th year anniversary of "Just Dance" with her Little Monsters. The song is part of the singer's The Fame album.

On Sunday, Lady Gaga penned a lengthy tweet to her fans that have stood by her throughout the past couple of years.

"I can't believe it's been ten years since the release of Just Dance. It's very emotional and I am so grateful to little monsters for sticking by me all these years. Cheers to many more, filled with love & bravery to be yourself. I love you so so much," wrote the singer.

The Fame was released on Aug. 19, 2009, and one of its songs "Just Dance," was written by Lady Gaga with Akon. The track was produced by RedOne, and it also features vocals from Colby O'Donis.

In a follow-up tweet, Lady Gaga paid tribute to her Little Monsters or loyal fans for their love throughout the past decade.

"I love you little monsters 4eva. The last decade has been a blast and I will never forget. I can't wait for the next. If you don't have any shadows you're not standing in the light. I wrote 'just dance gonna be ok' right after one of the hardest times in my life. It was true," wrote Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga Talks About 'Just Dance'

Following the release of The Fame, the singer opened up about the success of the album, as well as the popularity of "Just Dance." She said that she and her team have been trying to get the song played on the radio, but it took them awhile to make it happen.

"I mean it just doesn't sound like Katie Perry's 'I Kissed A Girl' - which is a beautiful, lovely, amazing hit record and it sounds like a radio hit. My song doesn't sound like a radio hit. I mean it does, but it doesn't... But I am taking it to another level," said Lady Gaga.
