Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl brought out his daughter Violet for a performance of Adele's "When We Were Young" at a charity event this weekend.

The rock icon was the headliner of this year's "Notes & Words" benefit concert held at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California on Saturday, May 12. Proceeds of the event will go to the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.

Grohl also performed acoustic versions of "Cold Day in the Sun" by Taylor Hawkins and Foo Fighters hits "Everlong," "My Hero," "Times Like These," "Best of You," and "Learn To Fly."

However, it was his performance with his 12-year-old kid, Violet, that stole the night.

The Grohl Family Concert

In the middle of his all-acoustic set, the 49-year-old rockstar stepped back from the spotlight and played the guitar for Violet who took the mic for a heartful rendition of Adele's 2015 hit single "When We Were Young."

Impressed by her angelic voice, the crowd went crazy and cheered on Violet as she sings the chorus.

Groh's 8-year-old daughter, Harper, also joined her father and sister onstage for an acoustic performance of Foo Fighters' "Sky Is A Neighborhood."

According to the Rolling Stone, this is not the first time that Harper joined the Nirvana drummer onstage to perform in front of a crowd. She also took the drums at last year's Secret Solstice Festival in Iceland where Grohl and the Foo Fighters performed a set. The father-daughter duo played a drums only rendition of Queen's "We Will Rock You."

At the time, proud daddy Grohl told the crowd that "We Will Rock You" was the first song that Harper learned as a drummer.

Foo Fighters Tour

Grohl and the Foo Fighters are currently on a North American tour that saw the rock band perform in venues in Austin, Tampa, Atlanta, Nashville, and many more. Billy Idol and John Travolta have previously joined the group onstage for their headlining set at Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida.

As part of the "Concrete and Gold Tour 2018," the group will soon be heading to Columbia, Philadelphia, Toronto, New York, Pittsburgh, Boston, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Chicago. The English rock band The Struts will open for the Foo Fighters.

Tickets are now available via the band's official website.

The band will next be seen in Germany where they are scheduled to play at the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park music festivals alongside Thirty Seconds To Mars, Muse, Gorillaz, Good Charlotte, and more.
