Most fans had already booked their tickets and flew to Las Vegas when Adele canceled her shows; that's why some of them are disappointed. However, it seems like Keith Urban is saving the day by adding more shows to his residency after the British songstress' dates have been cleared.

According to Billboard, the Australian singer has added five additional shows to his Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. At the same venue, Adele was supposed to have her shows.

Urban's production picked up a few slots in March and April to fill in Adele's vacant dates after she decided to postpone "Weekends With Adele."

Now that the "Easy on Me" singer has canceled some of her scheduled appearances, Urban is set to perform additional performances for the March 25 to 26 and 30 dates, as well as April 1 to 2.

Taking to his Instagram account, Urban revealed the surprise announcement by sharing a video of him playing with his cat Louis.

"Hey guys, it's Keith here. Me and Louis are letting you know that we got five brand new shows being added to our Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace," the singer said.

"See you guys in Vegas!" he added.

Initially, Urban was set to perform on his residency in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions, and lockdowns, he was only able to perform four shows before it got postponed.

The former "The Voice" coach finally returned to the stage in September 2021.

On the other hand, Adele was left devastated after revealing to her fans via a video that she was postponing her "Weekends With Adele" Las Vegas residency in the same venue.

She revealed that her show isn't ready yet, and her team tried their best to "put the show together in time and for it to be good enough for you."

However, delays and COVID-19 cases within her staff forced production to shut down the show.

"I can't give you what I have right now and I'm gutted and I'm sorry it's so last minute," Adele added.

The British singer noted how upset and embarrassed she was for the cancellation, and she offered her apologies to fans who had already traveled to Sin City.

Adele made up to her fans who were at the venue by sending DMs on Instagram, saying they should visit the store at the hotel for a gift.

A user named @JamesMasonFox was shocked and clarified whether it was the singer or her team. Adele later confirmed it by sending a voice memo, saying, "Yes, it is, it's me!" (via Glamour Magazine)

When fans arrived at the gift shop, they were surprised as Adele was waiting to talk to them via FaceTime.
