Good news for Smilers and Little Monsters! Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga are rumored to collaborate on a rock song after the singers dropped hints over the past few days, but there's one big problem.

According to rumors circulating Twitter, the two pop stars are reportedly working on a new song together, as an insider dropped a hint earlier this month.

Per @ABTLABinsider, Mother Monster will collaborate with a "rock artist." Cyrus' current era, "Plastic Hearts," heavily revolved on the rock genre and was praised by numerous critics despite not getting a nomination in major awards show like the Grammy Awards.

One fan noticed a tweet from the account months prior, saying the "Midnight Sky" singer has "greatly demonstrated the desire for a collab" with the Academy Award-winning singer, but she's "extremely crowded" with projects.

Recently, fans gushed even more, when the two artists donned the same platinum blonde messy bangs and bun hairstyle.

Lady Gaga seemingly hinted at the rock song on her Instagram account by sharing a picture of her under the sunset doing a rock sign.

She captioned the post with, "where is she going," along with a skull, flaming hearts, and rock sign emojis.

However, there's one major problem. Despite the speculations, neither of the singers' management team has confirmed the rumors.
