For the majority of 2022, 6ix9ine has been rather quiet on social media.

He is usually ready with trolling attempts and singles. However, the Brooklyn-based rapper hasn't posted on his Instagram page since May of last year.

However, he is apparently "struggling to make ends meet," according to recent testimony before a judge.

According to court documents obtained by Complex, the rapper, actual name Daniel Hernandez, told a judge supervising his 2018 armed robbery lawsuit that his career hasn't been the same since his stint in prison.

Money is also running out in his career, and record labels are reportedly refusing to make him advances.

In the docs, the "TROLLZ" rapper admits that he doesn't know if he would "ever command the sort of advances I was paid before my arrest and my career stagnated."

He also apparently does not receive any payments under his recording artist or merchandise agreements.

Sixix9ine's recording contract with TenThousandProjects expired in February, as did his merchandise contract.

The "WAKA" rapper signed with the label in 2017 and released his "Day69" mixtape and "Dummy Boy" studio album in 2018.

Later, he resigned from the label immediately before being jailed on racketeering charges a year ago.

Following his release from prison, 6ix9ine released a number of singles as well as a 2020 album titled "TattleTales."

In his final statement to the judge, the 26-year-old rapper stated, "It will undoubtedly bankrupt me in a way from which I will never recover, to the permanent disadvantage and hardship of the family members who rely upon me."

In addition to his mother and brother, the income he does receive supports himself, his two infant children, and their mother.

6ix9ine's civil case stems from an armed robbery attempt in April 2018 in which he and members of Trey Nine Bloods assaulted Seketha Wonzer and Kevin Dozier, mistaking them for Rap-A-Lot Records.

He entered a guilty plea to the charges in 2019 and was ordered to pay for his involvement in the robbery.
