Aaron Carter seems to have never recovered from a series of tragic events in his life.

These factors may have led to his downward spiral.

The former child pop star, 34, passed away on Saturday at his home in Lancaster, California. His body was discovered in the bathtub by his housekeeper.

According to TMZ, the "I'm All About You" singer was suffering with an addiction to inhaling compressed air, and they even discovered proof of him being found lifeless.

Several cans of compressed air from Nick Carter's younger brother, as well as prescription drugs, were discovered in the bathroom and bedroom. It's still unknown what caused him to drown, but these new findings might help detectives figure out what happened.

Aaron Carter, on the other hand, had a tumultuous life before his tragic demise.

An informant revealed that Hilary Duff's ex-boyfriend "never really dealt with a lot of pain he had."

Aaron's sister Leslie died in January 2012 from a prescription drug overdose. However, their family was shocked again five years later when their patriarch died of a heart attack at the age of 65.

"He was terribly shaken up when Leslie died," an anonymous acquaintance told People Magazine, "but it was Bob's death that truly shook him."

They went on to explain that the father-of-one had a problematic connection with his mother and father, but his father's death threw him off.

"That's when I noticed him really spiraling." He'd gotten in trouble before, but he'd gone from being a party animal to something far worse. It seemed as though he had given up."

Aaron has a sister, Bobbie Jean, a half-sister, Virginia Marie, a half-brother, Kaden Brent, and a step-sister, Taelyn Dobson, in addition to Leslie, his twin Angel, and elder brother Nick.

According to the source, Aaron had no one he could trust, and no one trusted him.

"Seeing him make the decisions he did was genuinely awful," they stated.

Meanwhile, some close to Aaron Carter believe he had a relapse and was not suicidal, as many have suggested, according to Radar Online.

After all, he intends to return to the studio shortly before his tragic demise.

The former child star battled drug addiction for 10 years and recently participated in a month-long outpatient treatment.
