Taylor Swift and Rihanna are the two current top artists sitting on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with their smash singles; what fans want to know is who is wealthier between the two as they have been taking over the industry for years now.

According to Billboard, Rihanna made her highly-anticipated comeback this year with her song "Lift Me Up," a ballad song from the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" official soundtrack.

The latest project was partly written as a tribute to the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who died from colorectal cancer in 2020. He was 43 years old.

This week, Rihanna wasn't able to snag the top spot on the Hot 100 chart as her song placed second. On the other hand, Taylor Swift dominated the charts this week with her smash hit "Anti-Hero" from her ever-successful album "Midnights."

According to this week's placements, Sam Smith and Kim Petras' "Unholy" was placed at number three, Steve Lacy's "Bad Habit" currently sits on number four, while Harry Styles' "As It Was" is on the charts at number five.

Taylor Swift vs Rihanna Net Worth 2022

Taylor Swift has been taking over the music industry by storm since her debut in the mid-2000s. Celebrity Net Worth estimated the pop star's net worth to be at a whopping $450 million.

Throughout her career, she managed to sell 200 million albums. Since she is one of the most in-demand artists to date, Swift toured around the world over the past years which made her earn $150 million.

This year, the "Paper Rings" hitmaker is set to return to performing on her highly-anticipated "The Eras" tour which will tackle all the eras of her career.

The pop star has several properties across the United States as part of her real estate portfolio. The outlet reported that she has houses and apartments in Nashville, Rhode Island, New York City, Los Angeles, and Massachusetts.

Swift may have beaten Rihanna on the charts this week, but the latter has a bigger net worth than her as she is a billionaire.

According to Forbes, the "Kiss It Better" hitmaker is now the richest female musician in the world with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion.

Although many people assume that she earned her money mostly from music, the outlet noted that her business ventures made her a billionaire.

Rihanna is the founder of the hit cosmetics line Fenty Beauty and a lingerie company called Savage x Fenty.
