Lady Gaga's 2011 song, "Bloody Mary",from her third studio album, "Born This Way", has found new fame 11 years later because of the Netflix series, "Wednesday." Today, the song broke another record amid its success.

According to Pop Crave, "Bloody Mary" is now the number one most Shazamed song in the world after the viral TikTok dance craze from the series made rounds on the internet.

In its previous record, the track also got the biggest streaming day of all-time on Spotify last week after having 429,000 listeners in one day.

On her profile on the music streaming platform, the song now sits at the number five most popular track among all of Gaga's discography. It has over 82,192,216 streams as of this writing.

Earlier this month, Mother Monster acknowledge the song by quote-retweeting Wednesday Addams' tweet saying she loves seeing people recreate their dance moves online.

The pop star wrote, "Slay Wednesday! You're welcome at Haus of Gaga anytime (and bring Thing with you, we love paws around here)."

Jenna Ortega's Famous 'Wednesday Dance'

It all began when fans started using Jenna Ortega's character's dance moves to vibe with a sped-up version of Lady Gaga's song.

In a tweet, the actress revealed that she was inspired by several artists like Lisa Loring, Denis Lavant, Siouxsie Sioux, Bob Fosse's Rich Man's Frug, and many old videos of goths dancing in clubs.

In a recent interview with NME, Ortega revealed that she had COVID when she filmed the dance scene, saying it was "awful."

"Yeah, I woke up and - it's weird, I never get sick and when I do it's not very bad - I had the body aches," she said. (via Variety)

Speaking about what she truly felt that day, the actress said her sickness felt like she'd been hit by a car and a goblin was around her throat "scratching the walls of my esophagus."

She later revealed that production staff was giving her medicine between takes because they were waiting on the positive result.

When Ortega was confirmed to be positive, production company, MGM confirmed that the actress was immediately removed from the set.

"I asked to redo it but we didn't have time. I think I probably could have done it a bit better," she added.
