Despite the fact that he divorced Mariah Carey years ago, Nick Cannon reaffirmed his love for the diva.

In an interview with The Shade Room, he responded without hesitation when asked who was the genuine love of his life, "Like the greatest? I mean, I always talk about that. Then, it goes viral and all her fans get mad at me."

Though Nick has stated that Mariah is his best love, he has also discussed why he admires her and their experiences together.

"Mariah Carey was already a part of my life when I was 12 years old," the 42-year-old rapper reflected on how far they'd come.

"And she's the coolest person I've ever met; she's always joyful, always doing for others."

When he learned how powerful and concentrated the "We Belong Together" singer was, the "Wild & Out" star claimed he was absolutely intrigued.

"When I found that out about how remarkable she was, that woman is not human. She's a gift from God."

Mariah has been heralded by her ex-husband, with his words: "I get a lot of this delightful disposition from her."

Monroe and Moroccan, their 11-year-old twins, are shared. However, their marriage did not last, resulting in their divorce in 2016, which was officially filed in 2015 following the first breakup two years earlier.
