Kelly Clarkson has been delivering high-quality performances on the "Kellyoke" segment of her talk show as she previously covered tracks sung by other artists. However, her most recent cover appears to have taken a more personal route, seemingly shading her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.

According to Billboard, the "American Idol" covered Gayle's viral TikTok song "abcdefu" and many fans immediately noticed that the pop star changed its lyrics and they believed that she was aiming for her ex.

It all began with the first verse as she changed the lyrics to "Forget you, and your dad, and the fact that you got half... And my broken heart, turn that s*** into art."

After the video of her performance went viral, many fans took to social media to react, with one user writing, "Kelly Clarkson changing the lyrics to ABCDEFU... Yesssssssss! Queen. Here for it. Sang girl."

"Angry Kelly is so freaking fire," one wrote, while another one expressed, "Omg.... I was surprised Kelly Clarkson sang this song ... Omg.. you all know what she is singing bout."

Kelly Clarkson NEW Album 2023: 'Chemistry'

It appears that the singer's recent performance is just a taste of what's coming in the next few months as the musician is set to release a post-divorce album later this year.

The "Breakaway" hitmaker shared the announcement on social media, saying she had been working on the project for almost three years now. Initially, she was unsure of releasing the record, but she finally decided that she would.

Titled "Chemistry," the songstress said she didn't want the public to think her upcoming album would just be "one or two emotions," but rather "the arc of an entire relationship."

"A whole relationship shouldn't be brought down to just one thing. So there's the good, the bad, and the ugly kinda thing going on in it," she added.
