After three years of dating, Halsey and Alev Aydin are going their separate ways. On April 5, the couple requested joint physical custody of their son in a court summons.

Alev and the singer first became acquainted in 2018 when Alev, a filmmaker at 40, was commissioned to write a screenplay for a biopic based on her music. It wasn't until 2020 that their relationship began to flourish, culminating with them both receiving matching tattoos in June.

In July 2021, Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, professionally known as Halsey, 28, gave birth to her and former partner's son Ender Ridley Aydin.

According to The Blast, Halsey has recently outlined a legal custody schedule for their son in official paperwork. The "Without You" singer asks for full physical custody, while joint legal parenting rights would be granted, with Alev being awarded reasonable visitation.

Furthermore, Halsey is willing to share the costs of paternity and attorney fees, but no mention of child support has been made in the documents.

In October last year, Halsey and Alev were spotted at Tere's Mexican Grill in Los Angeles. On Valentine's Day this year, the songstress posted a heartwarming image of the couple sharing a romantic kiss. Though the precise details surrounding their separation are currently unknown, there has yet to be any official statement from either party.

According to an inside source who spoke to In Touch, the singer's relationship with her beau has ended amicably. This decision was based on their mutual commitment to co-parenting their son; both parents remain devoted to him.
