Aaron Carter's gravestone portrait has been unveiled less than a month before his first death anniversary.

Aaron's housekeeper in his Lancaster, Calif., home found the singer unresponsive in his bathtub on November 5, 2022. The female staff immediately called 911 to request for Fire/EMS units to the area, who later pronounced him dead.

Aaron Carter's Gravestone Revealed

Before Aaron's first death anniversary on November 5, his twin sister Angel shared the first look at his gravestone portrait placed at the Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.

It features a photo of the late "I'm All About You" hitmaker alongside the text: "In Loving Memory Aaron Carter 1987 - 2022."

It also includes "Beloved Brother, Son, Friend, & Father of Prince Carter."

"He adored his fans, and I know how much this would mean to him now having a final resting place where we could all celebrate his life. I invite you to visit, share your memories, and never forget who Aaron was deep down," Angel continued.

Aaron's death occurred years after the family also lost his sister, Leslie, following a similar drug overdose.

Angel has been working with a children's mental health organization after the losses. The group, On Our Sleeves, inspires her to help others so that her siblings' deaths would not be in vain.

The "That's How I Beat Shaq" crooner's body was released to the family after undergoing an autopsy and was soon cremated and laid to rest at the famous cemetery.

The family's matriarch, Jane Carter, previously said that they would gather to scatter his ashes in the waters of Florida after mixing them with those of his sister Leslie. She added that a small amount of Carter and Leslie's ashes would be kept and buried with her once she dies.

After the release of the official cause of death, Aaron's ex-fiancée Melanie Martin requested a second autopsy as she believed there was something suspicious about his cause of death.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner revealed that the singer drowned in his bathtub after suffering from the effects of alprazolam, a generic Xanax. He also inhaled compressed difluoroethane.

This led him to be "incapacitated while in the bathtub," leading him to slip under the water and drown.

They also ruled his death accidental.
