Keke Palmer has experienced a great deal of pain, trauma, and suffering in the past few weeks and months as she endured the hardships of separating from her abusive ex-boyfriend.
Palmer has filed and was granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson, who turned out to be mentally and physically abusive towards her and their child.
Despite the hardships, Palmer has remained steadfast and even managed to sneak in a rousing video along the way.
Keke Palmer Physically, Mentally Abused

She complained about Jackson for emotionally and physically abusing her, writing in her complaint that he has "repeatedly" attacked her, trespassed at her home, and become "very frustrated" with their 8-month-old child.
"It is because of our son, Leo, that I was finally able to end my relationship with Darius once and for all and escape the abuse," Palmer wrote in the documents. "Leo is the most important thing in the entire world to me; he needs and deserves to be safe and grow up in an environment free from violence."
As of this writing, Palmer has been granted sole custody of their child, with no visitation rights from Jackson.
As she went on raising her child alone with the help of her parents, Palmer also reflected on the harrowing moments she had experienced in her life when she was still starting out as a child actress in Nickelodeon.
"Anytime a dynamic is shifted like that it can get highly toxic, because no one knows how to deal with the trauma of being a celebrity, or having a celebrity child," Palmer recalled on her podcast "Baby, This Is Keke Palmer" with Dr. Drew Pinsky. "My parents did great, and I said this in my book: I can judge all day and night, but I'm pretty good."

Keke Palmer Talks About Trauma In New Video
Palmer, whose sense of humor tickles everyone in the room, posted a rousing video on Instagram.
"When reality tv makes everyone believe all celebrities are just one big marketing strategy and scheme but my life is truly unraveling at the seams and I just wear trauma like a Dolce & Gabbana coat because Sharon didn't raise no bi-," the text on the video read, as Palmer stood confidently while Nicki Minaj's "Seeing Green" plays on the background.
