    Yesterday marked the 36th anniversary of the death of legendary musician Ian Curtis, acclaimed singer and songwriter of infuential English post-punk band Joy Division. The anguished frontman committed suicide on May 18, 1980 at 23.

While Bambaataa is technically the founder of Zulu Nation, in a statement released the hip-hop organization referenced a change in leadership and that they were moving towards a call for support of victims of abuse, rape and molestation. The founder, Bambaataa, has been surrounded with allegations of abuse as of late and can’t seem to shake them.
