The concert, held on Dec. 7, was the group's initial show in the nation's capital following the attacks of Nov. 13, where members of ISIS opened fire on the crowd at an Eagles of Death Metal concert, killing 89 members of the audience at Parisian venue, Le Bataclan. -

Sigur Rós Members Produce Talking Dog Movie ‘3 Dogateers Save Christmas’ [WATCH]
Georg Holm and Orri Dyrason, the bassist and drummer for Sigur Rós, produced 2014's holiday-themed family film The Three Dogateers Save Christmas in which three talking dogs save Christmas from burglars much like Macaulay Culkin did in Home Alone 25 years ago. The movie's tagline is "Christmas just went to the dogs," so it's no surprise it's just one part of what turns out to be an entire Dogateer franchise--Jurassic Bark is in the works and Indiana Bones might actually turn out to be a thing. Bassnectar, the moniker of electronic producer/DJ Lorin Ashton, has announced a Willy Wonka-themed golden ticket giveaway as he rolls out his first batch of delicious-looking organic Bassnectar chocolate. Initially, the producer's announcement declared that winners would receive "free weekend admission to next year's 'Bass Center 2016' (2 full weekend VIP passes, plus camping)," Your EDM reports, although anything hinting at camping has since been erased from all internet sources. -
Phoenix, Bill Murray Team to Cover Lost Beach Boys Tune 'Alone on Christmas Day' [LISTEN]
Appearing in the freshly released Netflix special, 'A Very Murray Christmas,' Bill Murray and Phoenix combined their contrasting musical abilities to tackle a cover of a rare Beach Boys holiday tune, "Alone on Christmas Day." The track was originally written in 1979 for a Beach Boys Christmas LP, but was ultimately scrapped and never saw an actual release. A demo version of the track has been floating around as a bootleg for years. -
