• Above & Beyond Announce 'Acoustic II' Album, Tour In 2016

    Above & Beyond have some big news for their fans heading into 2016. The London-based electronic music trio are rebooting their Acoustic concept spawned in 2013, but with even more legs. Paavo Siljamäki, Tony McGuinness and Jono Grant have announced Acoustic II, which will include an album and tour of "the world's most iconic venues."

    Cat Power and Jakob Dylan, band leader of The Wallflowers, have released a promotional cover of The Turtles' hit song "You Showed Me," in anticipation of a full tribute performance at Echo in the Canyon, alongside Beck, Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor and Jade, formerly of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, celebrating the music of classic 60s folk rock bands.

    Kid Cudi has some big news about his upcoming artist album Speedin' Bullet To Heaven. Announced on Twitter late last night, Cudder shared the news that his upcoming album would be a "double disc set experience." CD 1 would be the album, presumably where all of the new music, including his recently previewed single "Confused" would be found. CD 2 would be where fans can find the extras, including unreleased jams, demos, rehearsal outtakes and more.

    Lithuanian producer, DJ Ten Walls, real name Marijus Adomaitis, caused outrage and was widely condemned earlier this year when he wrote a lengthy bigoted post on his personal Facebook account towards homosexuals. It was quickly taken down after probably someone on his team noticed it, but the rant was noticed and spread online, causing the producer's career to come to a quick standstill after several hit underground records a busy summer festival season planned ahead. Written back in June, he has just now apologized for his actions.

    No matter how much of a reinvention he has had in the media lately, Justin Bieber can't seem to get away from questions on his ex Selena Gomez, Jesus, church and the inappropriate behavior in his past. While it hasn't gone unnoticed that he has returned at the top of the singles chart with "What Do You Mean" and set a record for the most number of streams in one week with the same track, he is still consistently asked about Gomez and their current relationship status, but he's now dropped hints about a new relationship in the interview for his 'Complex' cover story.
  • Scott Stapp Talks Creed Reunion, Guitarist Mark Tremonti Not Ready

    Creed frontman Scott Stapp seems to be on an upswing after the infamous video that he posted to Facebook, where he claimed to be completely broke, homeless and under attack from seemingly unknown assailants. It was later revealed that Stapp had suffered a breakdown due to Bipolar Disorder and worsened by substance abuse. Currently, he is hopeful that his top-charting band is set to reunite, but guitarist Mark Tremonti is not ready, at least in the short term.

    Ultra Music Festival has unveiled the aftermovie for its main 2015 event in Miami earlier this year. The 14-minute short film put together by Final Kid features a tracklist filled with tracks meant for the Miami sunshine from the likes of Michael Calfan, EDX, HI-LO, Valentino Khan and others. It also premieres a new ID from Martin Garrix, who had a career-defining set on the main stage, bringing out Usher and playing nearly all of his own music including a whole host of new tracks.

    Thousands of ravers descended on Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia this weekend to celebrate electronic music at TomorrowWorld and for many they had a wonderful time. However the weather brought down torrential rains and due to poor planning by organizers, what was supposed to be a fun three-day festival turned into a nightmare on Saturday night when shuttle buses were suspended and attendees had to walk several miles at 2 a.m. in the cold, rain and mud to try and get a ride home.
