Harmonix Announces 'Rock Band 4' for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
Fake musicians, rejoice! The video game that made millions of dreams become living-room realities, 'Rock Band,' has announced the fourth installment of the franchise. Details about the new edition are scarce, but developer Harmonix did offer some good news: The new game will be compatible with all the previous installments -- minus 'The Beatles: Rock Band,' for licensing reasons. As 'Wired' pointed out, Rock Band 4 will be out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the fall. Lead developer Daniel Sussman said the company has made the fourth installment compatible with songs and instruments from the previous games out of respect to dedicated customers. -
Watch Eminem 'Not Afraid: The Shady Records Story' Documentary Featuring Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Others
2014 marked the 15th anniversary of Eminem's label Shady Records. Eminem and his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg celebrated the milestone with the release of the compilation 'Shady XV' that features the likes of 50 Cent, Yelawolf, Royce Da 5'9" and others. Now 'Complex' has created a 32-minute documentary -- 'Not Afraid: The Shady Records Story' -- on the history of the label, from its inception until what it has become today, from its glory days in the early 2000s to its more scaled back form today with artists like Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse and Royce Da 5'9" on the roster. The film sits with a variety of guests who have been crucial to the development of the label and Eminem as an artist over this career, notably Rosenberg, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, whose album 'Get Rich or Die Trying' was released through Shady Records. -
Paul McCartney Shares Three Unreleased Wings Tracks [LISTEN]
Paul McCartney dug into his archives of unreleased music to share three tracks from his post-Beatles group Wings. The singer made a new version of "Rock Show" available along with an extended cut of "Letting Go" and a track from the 1974 'One Hand Clapping' film titled "Love My Baby." Fans can stream the tunes via SoundCloud or download them for free by giving their email address to McCartney's website. -
