Rush's Neil Peart Unsure About Anniversary Tour, Drummer Doesn't Want to Leave Daughter for Extended Period
Neil Peart isn't entirely enthused about the possibility of hitting the road with Rush for an anniversary tour. The main reason behind the drummer's apprehension is not wanting to leave his family. Peart explained his side of things in a recent interview with Prog magazine, citing his 5-year-old daughter, Olivia, as the main motivator for him wanting to stay home. -
Tiesto Extends Hakkasan Las Vegas Residency
Dutch DJ Tiësto, continues his reign over Las Vegas nightlife. He has inked a new deal with MGM Grand and Hakkasan to extend his residency at Vegas mega-club. The terms have not been disclosed yet, but it will lock him in for an exclusive, multi-year deal with the club. He will continue his "Club Life" residency at Hakkasan nightclub and his "Republic of Tiësto" residency during the summer at WET REPUBLIC. -
Björk Collaborating With The Haxan Cloak For New Album
Icelandic avant-pop legend Björk is currently hard at work on her new album, and though it has yet to be given a title or release date, this morning it was revealed that the 49-year-old singer-songwriter has been collaborating with British electronic artist Bobby Krlic, a.k.a. The Haxan Cloak, on the album. This news came from Krlic himself, who revealed through his Twitter account that he has been working with Björk over the last several months. -

Dutch electronic music festival promoter, ID&T, is continuing their global expansion. The founder of renowned festival brands like Tomorrowland, Mysteryland and Sensation, SFX-owned ID&T has decided to start a new festival in the United States. Its new vision, One Tribe, takes the event promoter all the way across the United States to Southern California at Lake Perris State Recreation Area outside of Los Angeles. ID&T has brought its festival brand to the East Coast with Mysteryland and has gone as far as to bring the one-night only event, Q-Dance to Los Angeles, but never a multi-day outdoor event to the West Coast. -

It's been a little over six months since the release of Lana Del Rey's last album Ultraviolence, but in a new interview with Billboard, the 29-year-old singer-songwriter reveals that she already has nine songs written for her next album, which will be titled Honeymoon. "I'm looking for a few more songs to tie everything together," Del Rey says of the album. Out of the nine songs she has already, Del Rey says that "the production is perfect" on four of them. -
The White Stripes To Release Live Album, DVD 'Under Amazonian Lights'
asdAs part of Third Man Records' Vault subscription series, Jack White will be releasing a White Stripes live album and DVD titled Under Amazonian Lights, which documents a concert in Manaus, Brazil on June 1, 2005 during the tour in support of the duo's fifth album Get Behind Me Satan. According to Consequence of Sound, the album will be pressed "blood red vinyl with stark black wisps," and features covers of songs by Bob Dylan, Howlin' Wolf, and Son House alongside the expected White Stripes classics. -
