Hey, New York, Billy Joel wants you to be nice to Taylor Swift. The "Piano Man" is not happy with the way some of The Big Apple's press have been treating the "Shake It Off" singer after she became the city's tourism ambassador last month. Joel, a Long Island native, does not care that Swift is from Pennsylvania and spent the majority of her career in Nashville. He welcomes her with open arms."I see the New York press going, 'Taylor Swift is going to be the new New York representative?'" the singer told "USA Today." "You snoots. Let her in. That's what New York is all about. I say, 'Welcome.'"Swift made the announcement in October about her new position on "Good Morning America," "Rolling Stone" noted."I'm still learning, but I'm so enthusiastic about this city that when I love something, I'm very vocal about it," she said. "New York was a huge landscape for what became this album. It's affected my life in ways I'm not even aware of fully." -
'Frozen' 'Let It Go' Gets a 'Breaking Bad' Parody: 'Do You Want to Build a Meth Lab?'
"Frozen's" success has been staggering. Though it is no longer in theaters, its box office success was the fifth largest ever, according to the BBC, and it has sustained sales since the end of last year until now with DVD and soundtrack sales, notably being the only album, besides Taylor Swift's, to sell 1 million copies in 2014. It has inspired plenty of covers, including a Movember-themed one, remixes and mashups as well, and now because the Internet we have a must-watch Breaking Bad version of one of Frozen's songs, "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" via "Huffington Post."Taking two of the most popular cinematic pieces that have been released in the past two years and mashing them together is a genius idea. It is surprising it took this long to happen. The video is well-done, with quality cartoon animation that captures many different themes of the show, like the fly in the lab. The lyrics are written right in rhythm with the instrumental of "Frozen" that somehow makes the theme of cooking meth sound so cheery and happy. -
Charli XCX Shares 'Gold Coins' from Upcoming 'Sucker' Album: 'Boom Clap' Performer Sings About the Good Life [LISTEN]
Charli XCX's fourth single from her upcoming second album "Sucker" is pop gold."Gold Coins" blends machine gun guitars and noisy effects with the singer's sultry vocals for a superb result. XCX has been busy getting fans ready for the album, out Dec. 16, by previously releasing singles "Boom Clap," "London Queen" and "Break the Rules."As "SPIN" notes, "Gold Coins" is a little slower than "Boom Clap" but it is just as infectious. "Gold coins out the window / Money falls like the rain falls / And I'mma spend it like I don't care."Check out the pop hit below. -

5 Mysterious/Unmarked Resting Places for Famous Musicians: From Mozart to Roy Orbison and Michael Jackson
Today involved a rather curious/mortifying news update for those who weren't previously aware that Frédéric Chopin's heart has been stored in a crystal jar full of alcohol, which itself is housed inside a pillar at the Holy Trinity Church in Warsaw. A few scientists and lay folk did a quick checkup to make sure the organ was still in good condition and then put it back, to be checked on another 50 years. It kind of makes us curious what other famous musicians have mysterious final resting places. None are as quirky as Chopin's (the rest of his body is in Paris, if curious) but there are some graves that get/got little attention for a while. -

Early Axl Rose EP with First Band Rapidfire Available for Download, Features Guns N' Roses Frontman in 1983 [LISTEN]
Axl Rose has been linked to Guns N' Roses since the beginning of time. The erratic frontman, however, was in a few other bands prior to making it big in the late 1980s. He was in the first lineup of L.A. Guns before forming his own band, Hollywood Rose with GN'R guitarist Izzy Stradlin. Their five-song demo was released in 2004 from the archives, and now fans are able to download an EP from Rose's first project, Rapidfire.According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Rapifire's demos have been available online for a few years, but the official release only came after Rose's legal blessing. Loudwire even reported earlier this year that a YouTube clip of Rapidfire was taken down at the request of Rose's lawyers even though it belonged to guitarist Kevin Lawrence."Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead man," Lawrence wrote prior to the release. "Oh, and I can't wait for the 500-page illegal harassment of a cease and desist. Snore .. zzz ... zzz. Heard of interference of business and SLAPP suits? I own the copyrights, the masters, the photos, the performances and I have the receipt that I paid for it all ... LOL ... open and shut."The EP, "Ready to Rumble," is available for purchase. Fans can learn more about the band on its Facebook page and even listen to a snippet of the music below. -
Diplo and Ex-Girlfriend Kathryn Lockhart Welcome Second Son, Twitter Feud with Lorde and Taylor Swift Continues
Diplo is a father, again. The DJ/producer, aka Thomas Wesley Pentz, welcomed his second son with ex-girlfriend Kathryn Lockhart into the world recently. Lazer Lee Louis Pentz weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces at the time of birth, "Us Weekly" reports. The pair's first child, Lockett, was born in 2010.As of late, Diplo has been romantically linked to Katy Perry, although those rumors have not been confirmed. They were seen publicly at Coachella in April, and over the summer Perry went to Jamaica with the EDM artist to work on new, reggae-infused music."The funniest moment was having Katy Perry in the studio singing 'woke up this morning feeling so blessed' and writing a whole song to the Rootsman Riddim while Jesse did the dub for 'Modern Day Judas,'" Walshy Fire, who was also in the studio with the pair, said. "Watching her catch that reggae vibe was the best part of recording."Diplo has been caught up in a social media scuffle lately with Taylor Swift and Lorde. A few days ago, the producer tweeted, "Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty." The campaign has not even raised $100 yet.
