    Man oh man, this episode of American Idol. Tonight (April 15), the top seven performed and were slimmed down to the top six - but it could not have been that simple. There were so-so performances, so much drama from Quentin Alexander and Harry Connick Jr. (that you'll be talking about for days) and, somehow, Rayvon Owen got the Twitter save for the third week in a row.
  • Travis Porter Release '3 Live Crew' Mixtape Featuring Bankroll Fresh, Cap1

    Travis Porter has released their new mixtape 3 Live Crew that features fellow Atlanta rappers Bankroll Fresh and Cap1. The project is the trio's first release in close to year when they released Music Money Magnums in June 2014. Ali, Quez and Strap put together 15 songs largely devoid of features, except for three including the aforementioned two from Bankroll Fresh and Cap1, plus two others from Spodee and Skooly. The lack of features fits with past tendancies since they have three members to give verses to.

    Tyler, The Creator can check one more thing off of his bucket list. Today he was the answer to a question on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire according to Complex. A woman was asked, "Which of these is a member of the hip-hop ground Odd Future, and not the lead character of a children's show?" She had to choose between Dora The Explorer, The Cherry Bomb rapper, Thomas the Tank Engine and Bob The Builder.

    The race to the White House in 2016 is heating up and candidates on both sides of the isle are looking for anyway to get an edge. The biggest will be on the Republican ticket with new candidates popping up weekly and Marco Rubio has been the latest to announce his candidacy for President. During his time in congress, the Junior Senator from Florida has been a vocal critic of the president and known as a big fan of hip-hop. He was approached by TMZ in Washington D.C. and asked about his both his wife and his musical preferences. Rubio, who has been embroiled in a controversy surrounding using an unlicensed song on the road, (not the first republican candidate to do so) admitted to liking Nicki Minaj and electronic music, specifically David Guetta, Axwell / Ingrosso and Swedish House Mafia.

    T-Pain recently put out a new mixtape, The Iron Way, with the help of DJ Drama. While fans are patiently waiting for his next studio release, Stoicville, the producer recently shared a trailer for the upcoming documentary about his life titled Bigger Than Pain. The doc is due out April 29.
