• How Scotty McCreery Celebrated Turning 21

When Scotty McCreery turned 21 earlier this month, he didn't throw a blow-out party with large quantities of beer. Instead, he told friends, family and fans that he wanted them to make a donation to the 12.14 Foundation.
  • Weezer Still Asking Fans to Help Decide New Single

Weezer told us everything will be all right in the end, but they are starting to make us think they have no idea what they are doing. The band continues to repost a Facebook survey — the most recent one came today, Oct. 21 — asking fans for input: What should their new single be? They provided three choices — "Ain't Got Nobody," "Da Vinci" and "Go Away" — and appear to be leaning on fan participation.

  • Wiz Khalifa Shares Interactive "Stayin Out All Night" Music Video, Starring Tia Carrere of 'Wayne's World'

Rapper Wiz Khalifa has shared the music video for his "Blacc Hollywood" party anthem “Stayin Out All Night,” but it is unlike most music videos you have ever seen. Though it starts off normally enough, with Wiz waking up in a zoo next to a gorilla and trying to figure out what he did last night — probably a typical morning for him — it eventually becomes interactive, allowing the viewers to choose which crazy situation they want to see Wiz get himself into. It is basically a choose-your-own-adventure book in the form of a music video. The video stars Khalifa alongside actress Tia Carrere, who you may recognize as Cassandra from "Wayne’s World."
  • Charli XCX Shares Colorful 'London Queen' Lyric Video

Two weeks ago, British synthpop singer Charli XCX shared her punky new single "London Queen," and today she has premiered the song's lyric video over at "Nylon." The video's cheap, colorful animation is reminiscent of those old point-and-click computer games from the late 1990s like "Backyard Baseball," but it fits in well with the song's hyperactive melody. The lyrics are pretty confusing, though, so if someone can explain what it means to "feel like J.F.K." for "driving on the wrong side of the road," it would be greatly appreciated.
